The first match of the tournament between Thundercatz A and City Club will follow this.

Pune, February 21: Former Davis Cupper Nitten Kirrtane turned back the clock, but couldn't do the same with his fortunes and make it memorable losing the Super Singles final of the 59th Indian Club-Bahrain Financing Company Open Tennis Tournament recently.
In the final, Kirrtane was tamed by Fahad Al Saad of Saudi Arabia 5-7, 4-6.
The Super Singles event in the tournament had six invited Davis Cup players from Kuwait, Saudia Arabia, Bahrain and India wherein two groups of 3 players each with the top-two making the semis.
Pune, February 21: Rohan Panchal, Aditya Gokhale, Ayush Prabhune, Siddanth Bantia, Liyaan Akkalkotkar, Rucha Moghe, Snehal Mane won their respective age groups in the XV RCBC 'Open' Junior Tennis Championships organised on the club tennis courts, on Thursday.
In the boys Under-10 event Ayush Prabhune scraped past Aryan Rai 9-2; while in the girls Snehal Mane put out Saloni Ghodke challenge 9-3. Last year Ayush Prabhune had won the Under-8 title; this year he continued to keep his winning run intact.
Pune, February 20: Vinayak Renuse — adjudged the best all-rounder — played a stellar role in Milo Mather+Platt’s 69-run win over Ammunition Factory, Khadki (AFK) in the final of the ThyssenKrupp Industrial Sports Association Inter-Industrial cricket tournament.
The victors who won the toss and elected to bat scored 217/5 in their 45 overs, with Renuse (62) leading from the front. Renuse found a responsible partner in Manoj Shirole (42) and Manish Desai (44) to help Mather+Platt finish with a competitive total.

A demonstration was made by Prajakta team at Akshar Nandan School on Wednesday evening. “I met these dance teachers in a school gathering and motivated my child to start practising from then,” said 10-year-old Mallavika Tulankar’s parent.

In closely contested semifinals, Raiyka outplayed Simran Nadwani 8-6 while Rucha Moghe scored a hard fought win over Anushka Sathe before registering the same scoreline.

Pune, February 11: Loyola High School bagged a double crown at the recently conducted PSAA inter-school tennis tournament, winning the under-16 and under-18 team championships, both against the Bishops School. The under-16 won their final quite easily with a score of 3-0, courtesy Yash Mokashi and Rahul Kamthe. However, the u-18 team consisting of Vinayak Shrivastav, Ajinkya Kavthekar, Gaurav Mehta and Tanay Gupta was made to sweat it out, narrowly beating Bishops by a score of 3-2. Vinayak and Ajinkya showed great prowess to carry their team through.
