Earlier known as the Lord Ray museum, Mahatma Phule museum was established in 1875. The museum displays a wide collection of industrial, handicrafts and agricultural items. The body samples of animals’ right from elephants to seal fishes put up on display is the specialty of this place. The other attractions include brassware, oil paintings, marble statues and stone carvings.
